The Full Story

The league was sanctioned under Williamsport Little League guidelines and rules. Local businesses were recruited to become team sponsors to help support the league. Over 500 children were reported to show up for sign-ups in 1952 for the eight little league teams. A minor league and tee ball league were also formed for younger players.
